Chargers sign Tre Boston

The Los Angeles Chargers sign S Tre Boston to an undisclosed contract.

The 24-year old started 10 of the 15 games he played for the Carolina Panthers last season, recording career-highs with 52 total tackles, 2 interceptions and 2.0 sacks.

The Los Angeles Chargers are making a playoff push this year and hope that Tre Boston improves a passing defense that ranked 20th with 249.2 yards allowed per game in 2016.

Tre Boston is a speedy and explosive player but lacks awareness. He will battle for the starting job and could become a solid contributor for the playoff-hungry Chargers.
