Jamaal Charles signs with Broncos

RB Jamaal Charles signs a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos worth $3.75 million ($1m +$2.75m incentives). No money is guaranteed.

The 30-year old is trying to resurge after missing back-to-back seasons to knee injuries. Jamaal Charles’ career 5.5 yards per carry is the highest average in NFL history. The Broncos hope that Jamaal Charles can take some weight off RB C.J. Anderson's shoulders.

Jamaal Charles spent nine seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, rushing for 7,260 yards and 43 touchdowns. He also caught 285 passes for 2,457 yards and 20 touchdowns.

In 2010 and 2012-2014, Jamaal Charles was selected to the Pro Bowl. In 2013 he led the NFL in rushing touchdowns with 12.
