QB Tom Brady ties an NFL record as the New England Patriots (3-2) win at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-2) 19-14.

The 40-year old celebrated his 186th regular-season win as an NFL starter, tying Brett Favre and Peyton Manning for the most by a quarterback.

Tom Brady, who is a five-time Super Bowl champion, completed 30 of 40 passes for 303 yards, 1 touchdown and a passer rating of 94.1. He also threw his first interception of the season and lost a fumble but the Buccaneers could not convert the takeaways into points.

Four days after surrendering 444 total yards to the Carolina Panthers, New England’s defense held their own against the Bucs until QB Jameis Winston tried to orchestrate a comeback from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

Tampa Bay’s kicking woes, however, continue as K Nick Folk missed two field goal attempts from 49 and 31 yards in the fourth quarter, as well as one from 56 yards just before halftime.

Nick Folk has made 6 of 11 field goal attempts this season and is 2-of-7 in his last two games.

RB Doug Martin returned from his four-game suspension and assumed his role as the main ball carrier in Tampa Bay’s offensive backfield. He finished the game with 13 rushes for 74 yards and 1 touchdown.

The New England Patriots have another away game coming up, facing the New York Jets (2-2) in week 6.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers go on the road to compete against the Arizona Cardinals (2-2) in week 6.
